Squad changes in the last week have seen the departures of central defender Adam Jones while 100 goal Mike Fish has now also departed from Seel Park.

The following season he finished as the club's leading scorer 20 goals. He then transferred to Curzon Ashton in the closed season of 2009 but returned to Mossley for a second spell in November of the same year.

He then re-joined Curzon Ashton in the closed season of 2011. A brief spell with Stocksbridge Park Steels followed before he signed for New Mills.

He re-signed for his third spell with Mossley in the closed season of 2014 and hit a rich vein of form in the 2016/17 scoring 22 goals in 28 appearances for the Lilywhites before making a shock move to Brighouse Town in January 2017.

He then signed for Colne prior to the start of the 2017/18 season before rejoining Mossley for a fourth spell at the end of September 2017.

Last season Mike completed both 300 games for Mossley and 100 goals and will always be remembered with great affection by the Mossley fans.

Max Leonard finished as top scorer at Mossley last season with 24 goals though 12 of them were from the penalty spot from where he enjoyed 100% record with the Lilywhites.

Having begun his career as a junior at Huddersfield Town he hit the headlines whilst scoring 42 goals for AFC Emley in the 2012/13 season. He then had spells with Shaw Lane and Frickley Athletic before joining Glossop North End in 2016. He finished as Glossop's top scorer that season with 23 goals.
