LILYWHITES LAND LYNCH

Mossley have signed young attacking midfielder Bradley Lynch on loan from Atherton Collieries.

Brad (age 19) joined Blackburn Rovers as an under 13 and played through the age groups before making his under-18s debut in October 2016 against Manchester City, setting up Blackburn’s only goal. He scored his first goal in the following game against Stoke City.

He was released from Blackburn at the end of the 2017/18 season and then spent last season at Colne FC where he scored 17 goals in 47 games along with numerous assists.

Brad began the current season at Curzon Ashton but moved to Atherton Collieries in August.

The industrious left-winger can play anywhere across the front-line.

Brad is the second Colls player to join Mossley in recent weeks following Kieran Nolan's recent Seel park return.

Mossley have also snapped up another wide player in Maine Road winger Jamie Hill who has scored 7 goals in 17 appearances for NWCL club Maine Road this season.

Outgoing is Nicky Platt who has left to join New Mills in order to get more game time while Astley Mulholland has gone to Cheadle Town to gain some match fitness after his long lay-off with a broken leg.

Striker Adam Morgan has signed for Widnes. “It just didn’t work out as it should,” said manager Dave Wild, “probably because of his job taking him all over the country. But Adam’s a great lad and I wish him all the best.”

Eliot Goldthorp has now returned to Bradford City following his loan spell.
