LILYWHITES SIGN CENTRE FORWARD BROWN

Mossley manager David Fish has brought in centre forward Antony Brown from Silsden FC.

Brown (27) a regular goal scorer throughout his career he previously played for Brighouse Town, Emley, Nostell MW, Campion and Eccleshill United having begun as a youth player with Huddersfield Town.

Manager Fish said, “Antony was a handful when we played Silsden in pre-season. He’s big, quick and aggressive, and offers something different to the number nines currently in the squad. He’s a good age and ready to make the step up to Northern Premier League football, as evidenced by there being a number of clubs in for him. I’m delighted he’s bought into what we are doing and chosen to join the club.”

Antony joins up with the first-team and is available for selection for tomorrow’s FA Trophy match away at Marine.
