Callum Charlton

Mossley manager David Fish has signed attacking midfielder Mason Fawns from neighbours Ramsbottom United.

Mason (age 21) will be no stranger to Mossley fans as he scored Ramsbottom's goal in Mossley's 2-1 FA Cup win last September.

He came through the ranks at Blackburn Rovers and Oldham Athletic, making his first team debut for Oldham as an 18 year old in 2017, going on to make 6 first team appearances while also having loan spells with Ashton United and AFC Fylde.

Following his release by Oldham Athletic Mason had spells with both Curzon Ashton and Alttrincham in the 2018/19 season.

Versatile left sided player Callum Charlton (24) has committed to the Lilywhites after impressing in the recent friendly games.

Comfortable as a winger or left back Callum was with Emley last season.

He began as a youth player with Brighouse Town before being snapped by Huddersfield Town.

Following his release by the Terriers Callum had spells with Eccleshill United, Ossett Albion and Yorkshire Amateur prior to joining Emley.

Committing to a Mossley return are midfield dynamo Kane Hickman and big striker Antony Brown with several others likely to follow.

Following Jes Uchegbulam's move to Matlock Town there have been further departures from Seel Park with forwards Dylan Fitzgerald and Danny McLaughlin and attacking midfielder Ryan Shenton all moving on to pastures new.
