WHO'S STAYING AND WHO'S LEAVING

Mossley manager David Fish will be happy that the large majority of last season's squad who he wanted to keep he has managed to do so, having successfully retained the services of Jack Banister, Jordan Butterworth, Mason Fawns, Jack Grundy, Kane Hickman, Andy Keogh, Dale Latham, Bailey Marsden, Joe Rothwell and Freddie Sass. Forward Louie Potts who signed on dual registration from Avro late in the season has also signed a deal to commit to the Lilywhites for the coming season.

Jamie Hill and Will Hartshorne who both appeared only briefly due to injuries have been invited back for pre season.

Only one player who was offered the chance to do has departed the club. Central defender Devon Matthews has accepted an offer to step up two divisions in the National League North for Curzon Ashton next season. Devon made 46 appearances and scored 3 goals in his solitary season at Seel Park having arrived from Glossop last summer.

Several players have been released, most notable name on the list is Ben Richardson who has ended his fourth spell with the Lilywhites having mae a total of 212 appearances for the Lilywhites and scored 25 goals. Also departing Seel Park are;- goalkeeper Jordan Hadlow (20 appearances for Mossley), Sam Kilner (29 apps), who has since signed for Yorkshire Amateur FC, David Kuba Kuba (12 apps), Connor Morris (28 apps 4 goals), Levi Phillips (23 apps 1 goal) and Tyler Williams (2 apps).

Teenage goalkeeper Bradley Kelly will enter the second of a three year deal with his parent club Rochdale but there is a possibility that his loan could be renewed in the 2022/23 season.

Oliver Broe who made 5 appearances on dual registration from Farsley Celtic has returned to Farsley while Andreas Bianga, who was on loan from Ashton United, returned to the Robins but has since been released by them.

Several new players and trialists will be joining the retained eleven when Mossley return to action for the pre season friendlies, beginning with a trip over the Pennines to visit North West Counties Leaguers Golcar United on Saturday 9th July.
