Manager

John Flanagan

Former Woodley Sports manager between 2000 and 2003 who arrived at Mossley as assistant manager to Chris Willcock in the close season of 2008. He was also previously a player for Woodley and also served at Stockport County, Hyde United, Stalybridge Celtic and Droylsden. Appointed Mossley manager in January 2010 following Willcock's departure to Stalybridge Celtic.

Kenny Hopwood

Joined Mossley in January 2010. Kenny has previous physio experience with Oldham Town, Curzon Ashton and more recently Ashton Athletic of the Vodkat League Premier Division who he joined in 2008.

Powerfully built teenager at home at centre forward or centre half. Signed from Stalybridge Celtic in March 2010. Previously with Oldham Athletic as a junior.

Lee Blackshaw

Very skilful attacking midfielder or forward who returned to Mossley in September 2009 after a brief spell with Glossop North End. A former Mossley Juniors player who has also served Ashton United and had an earlier spell at Glossop where he was named NWCL Player of the Year in 2006/07.

Jordan Goodeve

Powerful midfielder or forward re-signed in the close season from Curzon Ashton. Originally signed in August 2004 from Macclesfield Town. He then made 92 appearances scoring 21 goals in two seasons before moving to Chorley in 2006.

Tall and talented central defender. Affectionately known as 'Goose', Graham Kay arrived at Mossley from Woodley Sports in July 2008 and was appointed team captain. Previously considered the best amateur defender in Cheshire whilst with Middlewich Town.

Creative midfielder signed from Salford City in February 2009. Graduated through the youth set up at Rochdale and then had spells with Ashton United, Woodley Sports and Ramsbottom United.

Sam Kenney

Young locally based central defender signed in March 2010 who graduated through the Mossley Juniors set up. Played several trial games for Mossley as a 16 year old in the 2007/08 season and has since been on the books of Macclesfield Town.

Matthew Russell

Right sided player signed from Curzon Ashton in January 2010. A former junior with Manchester City, Russell joined Curzon in 2007 and played a prominant part in their great FA Cup run last season and is equally at home at either right back or on right side of midfield.
