Born in Nigeria 12th October 1993.
Godwin Olorunfemi Ebenmosi Abadaki came through Rochdale's youth system and made two Football League appearances in 2012 before signing for Championship side Huddersfield Town in September 2012 on a three month youth loan. He then joined Hyde in an extended loan deal and further loan periods followed with Southport, Stalybridge Celtic and Workington before his release from Rochdale in May 2014. He then played for Northwich Victoria in the 2014/15 season before joining Ashton United in July 2015. He originally signed for Mossley in October 2015 and made 27 appearances scoring 1 goal before returning to Northwich Victoria. Godwin then had spells with Ashton United and Shaw Lane FC and re-signed for Mossley in ther closed season of 2018.

Godwin is the younger brother of Osebi Abadaki.

Osebi re-signed for Mossley in September 2011 after a spell with Radcliffe Borough. Transferred to Salford City in January 2012 and later signed for FC Halifax Town and has since played for Ashton United, Nantwich Town, Winsford United, Salford City, Ramsbottom United, Nantwich Town, Shaw Lane AFC, Stafford Rangers and Hednesford.
Osebi is the elder brother of Godwin Abadaki.

Fábio Gonçalves Abreu signed for Mossley's youth team from Bacup Borough in October 2010.
He scored 16 goals in 15 games for the Mossley Youth and Reserve teams and was capped 3 times by England Schoolboys at under 18 level before earning a first team call up for the Lilywhites, scoring on his debut with his very first touch of the ball.
Abreu signed a three year trainee deal with Portuguese Primera club Maritimo in the closed season of 2011.
He made his first team debut for Maritimo in the 2014/15 season and went on to make 8 first team appearances in the Primera. He joined FC Penafiel in 2017 In June 2019, he returned to the top division when he joined Moreeirense FC.
In September 2019 Fabio was called up for the Angola national team and made his debut in a World Cup Qualifier 1-0 away win Gambia. He scored his first goal in the return leg, a 2−1 victory in Luanda that qualified to the group phase

Born in Oxford on 3rd February 1928,
Rex Adams began his playing career as an amateur in the Isthmian League with Oxford City.
He was signed up by Blackpool in 1948 and made 16 first team appearances scoring one goal in three seasons at Bloomfield Road where he played alongside the likes of Stanley Matthews and Stan Mortenson.
He stepped back into non league in the 1952/53 season helping Worcester City to a 6th place finish in the Southern League.
He was given the opportunity to return to the full pro game the following year and made 23 appearances scoring one goal for Oldham Athletic.
He returned to non league again when signing for Northwich Victoria in 1954. He spent two seasons at Vics before signing for Mossley in August 1956 where he made 22 appearances scoring 4 goals before injury curtailed his playing career at just 28 years of age.

Porya 'Rio' Ahmadi is a clever and clinical striker re-signed September 2017 from Trafford.
He originally joined Mosley from New Mills in January 2015.
Rio began his career with Sheffield United and helped the Blades to the FA Youth Cup Final in 2011. He then had a brief spell with Skelmersdale United before spending 18 months with Chorley.
He then moved on to Droylsden and then Salford City and New Mills.
He originally departed from Mossley he joined Welsh Premier leaguers Bangor City and was their top scorer in 2015/16.
He spent the 2016/17 season firstly with Rhyl and latterly with Stalybridge Celtic.
He has since played for Aberystwith Town and Glossop North End.

He had graduated through Rochdale's reserve team and had made 2 first team appearances in the previous season.
He made 9 appearances for Mossley scoring one goal before being released to join Radcliffe Borough upon Howard Wilkinson's arrival in January 1977.
He later had a spell with Macclesfield Town.

Aitken remained at Mossley the following season in the North West Counties League under Kevan Keelan.
He scored a hat-trick in his penultimate game for the club in an 8-2 Floodlit Trophy win over Trafford before departing to Winsford United January 1996.
Aitken was somwhat hampered by a back injury during his time at Mossley.

Born in Prestwich on 14th February 1897. Died 3rd May 1975
George Albinson was a wing half who was signed by Manchester United as a trainee in March 1919. He signed professional forms in May of the same year.
He played a solitary first team game for United a 1-2 defeat by Liverpool in an FA Cup replay on 12th January 1921. He was given a free transfer in May 1921 and made 3 first team appearances in the 1921/22 season for Manchester City. Ironically his City debut also came against Liverpool, 1-1 draw on 7th September 1921.
He was released by City in May 1922 and signed for Crewe Alexandra where he won a Cheshire League title captaining their reserve side in 1923 and later became first team captain spending almost 3 years at Gresty Road.
He joined Witton Albion in 1927 where he won the Cheshire Senior Cup in 1928.
He made just 2 appearances for Mossley the following season, scoring his only Mossley goal in a 2-4 Manchester Senior Cup defeat by Ashton National.

A clever and industrious central midfield player he signed for Ashton United in 2003 and went on to make 97 appearances for the Robins before signing for Jason Beckford's Mossley in January 2006.
He was surprisingly released in October 2006 to join Ossett Albion but was re-signed for Mossley by Gerry Quinn in August 2007.
He later returned to Ossett Albion abefore joining Brighouse Town.

Born in Stockport July 23, 1930.
George Allman began his career with his hometown club Stockport County (7-1), who he joined in 1950. After rarely featuring in two years at Edgeley Park, he moved to Holywell Town before returning to the professional ranks by joining Chester (49-13) in the summer of 1955.
He spent two years at Sealand Road but was one of several departures at the end of 1956–57, along with players such as Jack Haines, Bernard Hackett and Jim Collins.
He moved to Ashton United before joining Mossley in late 1957 scoring 4 goaqls in his 9 Mossley appearances.
He later coached Ashton United and was manager of Manchester Northern and Glossop.

Charles Anderson is a talented central defender or midfield player signed from Winsford United in the closed season 2013.
He departed Mossley for life as a professional football agent at the end of the 2015/16 season.
Charlie, who is the son of former Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and England defender Viv Anderson, began his career with Macclesfield Town before having spells with Ashton United, FC United of Manchester and Flixton.

Born on 12th March 1931. Died 1990.
A skilful forward who signed for Liverpool (73-22) in December 1951 when he was 20-years-old. He was given his debut on 28th March 1953 in a home fixture with Charlton Athletic but that was his only appearance of the 1952-53 season.
He scored 5 times in 13 games the following season but it wasn't until 1954-55 that he really established himself in the side, playing in 32 of the League fixtures and contributing a further 10 goals.
He appeared fairly regularly over the next season and a half before being replaced by the young Jimmy Melia.
Anderson moved on to Barnsley (9-1) in July 1957.
Later spells with with Bournemouth and Macclesfield Town followed before he signed for Mossley from Hyde United making just one appearance for Mossley in the 1961/62 season.
He later became manager of Ashton United Reserves.

Scottish born Jock Anderson arrived in England in 1932 having played Scottish junior football for Arthurlie.
A bustling centre forward and goalscorer Jock had returned north for a spell with Greenock Morton before signing for Mossley in 1934 and scoring 47 goals in 47 games in the 1934-35 season.
It was to be the beginning of a lifelong association with the Club.
He scored 22 goals in 38 appearances the following season followed by spells with Hurst, Winsford United and Ashton National before being snapped up by Rotherham United (8-0) before joining Stalybridge Celtci until WWII intervened.
By now a qualified chiropodist with a practice in Mossley, Jock returned to Seel Park as trainer and physio in 1948 up to 1953.
He then had spells as trainer at Ashton United and Hyde United between 1953 and 1961 and apart from a brief spell as Altrincham Trainer in 1968 he stayed at Mossley for the remainder of his life. He was Club physio as the team appeared at Wembley in the 1980 FA Trophy Final, Jock’s proudest moment.
Following Ronnie Ward’s death in 1981 Jock was appointed Club President and remained in the role up to his death in 1991.
The main stand at Seel Park was named the James Anderson Stand in his memory.

John 'Jack' Aspinall signed for his hometown club Mossley on trial as a 16 year old in the 1933/34 season but played only one match.
He then made his name as a strong and clever inside forward for Manchester amateur team Ferguson Pailin FC before re-signing for Clifford Tarr's Mossley in August 1935.
He made 26 appearances for the Lilywhites that season scoring 9 goals before being transferred to Oldham Athletic where he went on to make 11 first team appearances and later joined Bolton Wanderers where he played 14 first team games
He spent the last season before WWII with Ashton National, rejoining Bolton Wanderers in 1945 and retiring in 1949.

Tommy Aspinall was Bob Murphy's first ever signing for Mossley and the first time the club had ever paid a fee when signing the former Blackburn Rovers reserve centre forward Tommy Aspinall from Wigan Athletic for £100 fee in February 1974.
He went on to score 11 goals in 46 Mossley appearances before he was transferred to Winsford United for £500 fee in December 1974.
