Mossley's final reserve team game of the season saw the Lilywhites held to a goalless draw by a lively Curzon Ashton side at Seel Park on Thursday night in a game that swung, often frantically, from end to end.

Neither side brought their shooting boots with them as most efforts on goal careered out of the ground with Mossley the biggest culprits on this occasion.

Curzon too, were guilty of some wild and eratic finishing, but they did at least bring the best out of outstanding home keeper Nick Ashley who made a couple of fantastic saves and handled superbly all night.

At the other end Haydon Smith in the Curzon goal had a relatively easy night despite Mossley's often attractive approach play and both sides despite their best efforts were forced to settle for a point..
