The reserves moved into second position in the Galaxy Lancashire League with a comfortable win against Fylde on Tuesday night at Seel Park.

From the kick off it was Fylde who started the brighter of the two teams and did their best to squeeze the home side out of possession which initially worked. However, with 15 minuets gone Mossley stepped up a gear and began to get their game together.

Tom Clarke and Alex Byrne began to open up the Fylde defence with Fabio Abreu and Lee Constintine, stretching the away teams back four time and again.

Osebi Abedeki was lively down Mossley's left flank and on three separate occasions out passed Fylde's right back and cut inside the area only to see his shot hit the side netting, when he really should have cut the ball back to one of his fellow attackers who had created space in the area.

Jordon Cuff, Byrne, Abreu and Tom Clarke all came close with long range efforts but both teams went in at the break goal less.

Mossley started the second half as they finished the first, retaining possession and stringing together numerous flowing moves that the visitors were helpless to prevent and were eventually rewarded in the 55 minuet when Cuff hit a thunderbolt from 25 yards that the Fylde keeper was unable to stop.

From the restart Mossley continued to press. At this stage the visitors were chasing shadows, with Tom Clarke, Byrne, Constintine, Abreu and Cuff punishing Fylde with some impressive inter play and movement. On 70 minuets Mossley doubled their lead, Constantine crossing low from the right and Abreu applying a neat finish to the keepers right.

A second win in four days see's the reserves move into second place in the table wth a game in hand over Bamber Bridge.
