Mossley Women were back in action at Seel Park on Sunday thanks to the brilliant work by the amazing groundsman against Urmston.

Mossley were, from the start, the better team and on 27 minutes went ahead when Grace Burke smashed a trademark 30 yarder. Yet another wonder goal from Grace.

On 35 minutes Mossley doubled their lead. Abbey Rogers went on a brilliant run and a perfect cut-back was brilliantly chipped into the net by Maisie Blackshaw.

The second half kicked off with the return to action of Thaila Morley and on 51 minutes Thaila latched on to another perfect pass from Abbey Rogers to slide home the killer 3rd goal for Mossley.

On 63 minutes Mossley scored a fantastic team goal. Quick passing through the team had Niamh Fogarty free on the right and with a perfect cross Thaila Morley headed home for her second and Mossley's 4th goal.

The scoring was completed with a spectacular goal straight from a corner by Maizie Concar to give Mossley a fantastic 5 - 0 win and being a double header 6 points to take the Lily's up to 3rd in the League and are now unbeaten in 6 League games .

A special mention has to go to keeper Megan Duickin and the whole back four Lily Weston, Ellie Clarkson, Mia Riley and Abbey Rogers today as they were absolutely brilliant and gave Urmston no chances at all.
