Mossley Women successfuly negotiated their semi final against AFC Oldham at Seel Park on Wednesday evening and will now face either Chorley or West Chorlton & Didsbury in the Lily's first cup final.

Mossley were not at the best but still managed to play some great football totally dominating the game from start to finish against a defemnsive minded AFC Oldham side.

Mossley's 'woman of the match' and local hero Natalie Leaver opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a 30 yard rocket. However, Oldham equalised against the run of play on 20 minutes.

Mossley finally broke Oldham down with 10 minutes remaining after some great passing football ended with Kenzie Bentley scoring the winner.

Mossley deserved the win and showed patience and maturity to win the game.

The team can now look forward to the final.
