A disappointing first home League game of the season saw Mossley Women go down 4-1 to an experienced Sale Ladies despite dominating the game.

The Lily's took and early lead through Kenzie Bentley but were pegged back before half time.

The second half saw Mossley seemingly in control but a succession of missed chances proved costly as Mossley were caught out on the counter attack for each of Sale's three second half goals
