Just one day after the mens team had been held to a 0-0 draw against Clitheroe, the women's team did exactly the same against Bury AFC Ladies at Seel Park on Sunday.
Mossley had the better of the chances against a very strong Bury side who had beaten Curzon Ashton from two divisions higher the previous week.
Bentley and Graham were a constant thorn in the side for Bury, who defended well, particularly in the second half when Mossley ramped up the pressure. At the other end Mossley defended well and keeper Meg Dickin handled impecably throughout a well contested match in front of a healthy Seel Park crowd.
