Mossley Women continued their push for promotion when they took on 4th placed Sale at Seel Park on Sunday and were on the right end of an eleven goal thriller as the Lily's ran out 7-4 winners.

In quite an amazing game Mossley were the best team from the start, playing some eye catching football, and at 4 - 1 up with a brace each from the brilliant Ella Barnes and goal machine Kenzie Bentley the game looked to be over.
However, that was untill Mossley unbelievably conceded 3 goals in a 10 minute spell and be somehow it was 4 - 4.

To Mossley's credit they didn't panic and when Maisie Blackshaw calmly scored Mossley's 5th, the Lily's then returned to playing some outstanding football.

A goal from the returning Jess Graham and with Bentley then completing her hat-trick Mossley deservedly ran out 7 - 4 winners.

Manager Dame Blackshaw said, "Well that was entertaining for the fans but not good for our health. But we kept calm and deserved a big 3 points . Now we have to go to Hurst Cross and continue this push for promotion."
