Mossley Women took on West Disbury & Chorlton trying to build on their win last week. But as illness and injury ravaged the squad Mossley had to play with 10 players but still managed to win the game.

Mossley stepped up big time and dominated the game from the start and and after 20 minutes Jess Graham put the ball through and Kenzie Bentley opened the scoring with an unstoppable drive .

1-0 turned to 2-0 when Cerys Wilson curled her first Mossley goal from 25 yards giving Mossley a deserved 2 - 0 lead and with the Mossley defence being rock solid at half time to be honest you couldn't tell which side only had 10 players.

The second half continued the same way with Mossley playing some brilliant football and on 70 minutes Kenzie Bentley latched on to a great through ball to coolly slot Mossley's third. That's now six league goals in just three games for Kenzie.

What an effort from every single Mossley player but as tired legs set In West Disbury made 3 -1 on 80 minutes and 3 - 2 on 88 minutes.

In the last minute keeper Meg Dickin pulled off a great save to seal all three points and it was totally deserved.

After the game team manager Dame Blackshaw said, "it was the proudest I've ever been of a Mossley team, the team spirit got us through today and every single player was player of the match."
