Mossley's in form youth team brushed aside the challenge of AFC Liverpool at Seel Park on Sunday afternoon when a three goal first half salvo knocked the stuffing out of the beleagured visitors as the Lilywhites went on another Seel Park goal spree.

From the Lilywhites opening goal in the 6th minute the winning side never looked in doubt as Mossley dominated possession all over the park leaving the hard working but limited opposition for the most part chasing shadows.

The opener saw Jordan Cuff's right wing corner flick off Alex Byrne for Tom Clarke to wrap home his first goal in a Mossley shirt from close range.

The home side probed and constantly threatened before doubling the lead on 27 minutes with Jordan Cuff firing home from Antony Dorney's pass.

Fabio Abreu cheekily back heeled Mossley's third from close range two minutes later and it was game over.

The second half saw Mossley comfortably toy with the opposition but only add one further goal when Dorney finished off another flowing Mossley attack in the 68th minute.

Liverpool captain David McElnay was fortunate to only see a yellow card brandished when he appeared to stamp on the again outstanding Mossley midfielder Ben McNamara who was then unable to take further part in the game.
