Mossley coasted through to the 2nd Round of the Neil Thomason Trophy at a wet Seel Park on Sunday with an almost embarassingly easy win over a very poor Nantwich Town side.

Mossley had missed a host of chances before Nat Martin opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Prince Amadin had been fouled.

Jordan Rutter crashed home a second on 34 minutes and Justin Schall added a well taken third in the 65th minute.

Mossley could have won far more emphatically had they chosen to step out of the comfortable gear while Nantwich failed to muster a meaningful attack in the entire 90 minutes. Not much else to say really!
