The Mossley youth team bounced back to form with a comforatble victory over Northwich Victoria at Seel Park on Sunday.

The Lilywhites under 18's side were always in control of the game after taking a 14th minute leaed. Mossley won a corner on the left. Jordan Rutter crossed, centre back Ryan McNee wonj the far post header and Prince Amadin nodded home from close range.

After a spell of pressure that had seen several chances go begging Mossley extended the lead on 31 minutes. Jake Hibbs found Adam Bezzina with a through ball and the former Rochdale youngster outpaced the visitors defence before rifling home from fifteen yards.

Northwich did well to keep the defecit to just two goals in a one sided first half as Vics keeper Thomas Wilson was in outstanding form.

Northwich enjoyed a spell of pressure in the second half which the Mossley deefence easily coped with before a third goal was added on 79 minutes. Bezzina was brought down in the box and substitute Nat Martin crashed home the spot kick to secure the points and a much improved performance from the previous week's poor showing at New Mills.
