Tonight's youth team match v Chester has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

INJURY ENDS TOM'S ENGLAND CHANCE 26 / 02 / 12
Mossley's wing back starlet Tom Ingham has been forecd to drop out of the England Schoolboy under 18's squad due to a knee injury incurred in a college match. He is currently awaiting an operation on his damaged knee. Everyone at Mossley wishes Tom a speedy recovery.

MOSSLEY WIN u-19 FRIENDLY 12 / 02 / 12
Mossley comfortably saw off the challenge of FC Halifax Town in this under 19's friendly at WRSC today. Joe Heap-2 and Harry Noon scored the Mossley goals in a convincing 3-0 win.

Mossley's Manchester FA Youth Cup game at FC United of Manchester has been put back one week due to several of Mossley's youth team representing Manchester FA against the West Riding FA on Saturday.

TOM MAKES ENGLAND LAST 32 15 / 11 / 11
Mossley wing back Tom Ingham has been selected for the initial 32 player squad for the England under 18's schoolboy side. Tom will be hoping to emulate Fabio Abreu who went on to play several International matches whilst a Mossley player last season. Tom will be attending England training at Lilleshall in early December.

Teenage Mossley players Tom Ingham and Andy McKernon played in England Schoolboy Trials at Blackburn on Saturday, with both hoping to be selected for the final Englabnd squad.

GREG JOINS COACHING STAFF 15 / 08 / 11
Mossley have appointed Greg Walsh as Youth team Coach for the new season. The former Colne and Newcastle Town player was most recently head coach at AFC Bury. Greg will add vaulable assistance to youth team manager Rob Byrne.

CALLUM MAKES ENGLAND CATHOLIC SCHOOLS FINAL 12 / 07 / 11
Mossley Youth team defender Callum Harkin has returned from the tournament in Portugal with England Catholic Schools u-18. They reached the final beating Holland 2-0, Spain 3-1 and Italy 4-0 but were beaten in the final 5-4 on penalties by France after drawing 0-0.

YOUTHIES WIN AGAIN 02 / 07 / 11
Mossley's Youth team played against a Football Agents Select team at Reddish Vale School on Saturday and won 3-2 with goals by Hamza Jahangir, Prince Amadin and Nat Martin.

FIRST FRIENDLY FOR NEW LOOK YOUTH TEAM 16 / 06 / 11
With several of last season's youth team now over age, manager Rob Byrne is in the process of building a new look team for the coming season and they will play their first pre season friendly on Sunday 26th June (2 pm) against AFC Bury at Wright Robinson Sports College. Also the first team squad have another friendly arranged for Tuesday 2nd August away at Abbey Hey.

PRE SEASON TRAINING FOR YOUTH TEAM 15 / 06 / 11
Pre season training for the youth team squad starts this Saturday 18th June at
Reddish Vale Technology College, Reddish Vale Road, Reddish, Stockport, SK5 7HD.
Training will be 1.00 pm - 3.00 pm and every Tuesday and Thursday night thereafter.

ALEX IS COUNTY PLAYER OF THE YEAR 15 / 06 / 11
Last season's Mossley Youth team captain Alex Byrne has been named Manchester FA Player of the Year for his consistent performances for the title winning County under 18's side. Alex will join the Mossley first team squad for the coming season.

YOUTH TRIAL MATCH ON TUESDAY 12 / 06 / 11
There will be a match for this season's youth team trialists this Tuesday. The game will take place at Wright Robinson Sports College, Abbey Hey Lane,
Gorton, M18 8RL
Players meet in the reception at 6.00pm for a 7.00pm kick off. Bring shin pads and footwear suitable for 3G playing surface.
