
Mossley striker Peter Wright who is suffering from a double hernia has been told by his specialist that he can continue playing football through to the end of the season before having an operation in the summer.
Wright, who is Mossley's top scorer as been restricted in his appearances lately though he did play and score at Leek on Saturday before being replaced by Steve Burke 12 minutes from time.
Wright's Mossley team mate Steve Sheil suffered a very similar problem last year but made a speedy recovery from his operation.
