Willcock Resigns, Flanagan takes over |
|
25/01/10 Chris Willcock has formally handed in his resignation, with immediate effect, tonight. Chris has been offered the No. 2 spot at Stalybridge Celtic by manager Benny Phillips and feels it is an opportunity that he cannot turn down. He leaves with the sincere thanks and best wishes of the committee for all of the hard work he has put in, both on & off the pitch, over the past two seasons. It is well known that he has gone above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions. Chris did not take the decision lightly, but feels that it is a good move to further his ambitions in the game. John Flanagan has agreed to take charge of team matters for the forseeable future, which will give us the stability and continuity required at this time. |
