Young Mossley striker Fabio Abreu scored for England under 18’s team in their defeat in Poland on Wednesday.

England lost the game 4-1 in Katowice. Leading 1-0 at the interval thanks to Fabio's strike, England conceded an own goal early in the second half and coupled with several changes from the bench to ensure the whole squad had a run out, Poland were then able to control the match in the second half and ran out comfortable winners.

Another Mossley youngster set for International honours is youth team wing back Callum Harkin who has been selected for the Great Britain Catholic Schools squad to visit Portugal in July.
