on 27th October 1984 Danny Queeley was a very quick and skilful left sided player who was signed from Woodley Sports in the close season of 2011. He previously played for Manchester United as a junior and then had spells with Chorley and Rossendale United. After making 37 Mossley appearances and scoring 4 goals he was selected as Managers Player of the Year but then stopped playing to concentrate on his business as a fitness coach. |

Goalkeeper who was an amateur with Bury from whom he joined Mossley on loan in 1963/64 making 3 appearances. Signed for Droylsden and then Altrincham starting the 1967/68 season with the Robins, making 15 Cheshire League and 1 League Cup appearance before moving on to Stafford Rangers during the campaign. Returned to Mossley in the 1971 closed season, making a total of 21 appearances for the Lilywhites and joined Stalybridge Celtic for the 72/73 season. After a season at Bower Fold, he joined Nantwich Town and enjoyed two seasons at Jackson Avenue, being released in the summer of 1975. |

Born in Livetpool on 24th July 1959. Anthony Quinn started his career in his hometown, playing as an amateur for Liverpool and then Everton. After failing to make the grade he signed for Wigan Athletic. Although Quinn didn't appear for the first team during the 1978/79 season, he played in all 38 league games for the reserve team and scored 35 goals, making him the reserve league's leading goalscorer. In October 1979, Quinn made his first team debut against Lincoln City. He made 43 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals, before being released in 1981. Quinn joined Southport in 1985, where he scored 18 times in 81 league appearances before joining Mossley under Bryan Griffiths in January 1989 making 45 appearances and scoring 17 goals before returning to Southport in November 1989. |
