(b.14th February 1975) Youngest player ever to represent Liverpool in Europe. Charnock was with Liverpool from 1992 to 1996. He had a spell on loan at Blackpool before a permanent move to Crewe Alexandra where he went on to make 155 appearances in the Championship and League One. Spells with Port Vale and Bury followed before he moved to Linfield and then Ballymena United in Ireland. In the two previous seasons he played Fleetwood Town and Leigh RMI before Chris Willcock brought him to Mossley in August 2008. Retired through injury after making just 5 appearances.

Agile and highly rated 6' 3" goalkeeper signed by Chris Willcock in the close season 2009 from Chorley. Previously with Bury, Accrington Stanley, Clitheroe and Leek Town. Supporters and Players Player of the Year in the 2010/11 season.

Experienced central defender signed from Bradford Park Avenue in August 2007. Previously with Farsley Celtic, Ashton United, Stalybridge Celtic, Guiseley, North Ferriby United and latterly Bradford Park Avenue where he was club captain. Appointed Mossley captain for the 2007/08 season. Later with Garforth Town.

Signed from Harrogate Railway Athletic in March 2008.  He did pre season with Mossley and played in a couple of the friendly games but then re-signed for the North Yorkshire club where he had played for the previous two seasons. He was a key player in the Railwaymen's rise from the Northern Counties East League in 2005/06 but missed much of last season through injury. Equally at home in midfield or as a central defender, Dave played in Harrogate's televised FA Cup tie against Mansfield Town earlier in the season.n.  Brother of Richard Conway

(b.Little Lever 28the November 1901 d.1961) Other clubs: Great Lever, Bolton Wanderers, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tranmere Rovers, Pontypridd, Merthyr Town, Southend United, Wigan Borough, Yeovil and Petters United and Burton Town.
Billy, who could play at inside right or right half was born in Little Lever. He started his career with Great Lever before signing for Bolton Wanderers in 1922. He made 4 appearances for the Trotters without scoring before signing for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1923. He played 7 games at Molineux without scoring before moving to join Tranmere Rovers in 1924. His stay at Prenton Park yielded 19 games without a goal before he went to Pontypridd. He then signed for Merthyr Town in 1925 and a three-year stint there saw him make 131 appearances, scoring 10 goals in the process. By 1929 he was down at Roots Hall in Southend and he made just a single appearance without netting before joining Wigan Borough in 1930. He was to score 4 goals in 34 appearances whilst at Springfield Park before finishing his career in non league circles with Burton Town and Mossley. He also played for Yeovil and Petters United, although accounts vary as to exactly when he did so.
